I have recently added an Events Calendar to the site. It is very basic and really has not been populated since we are toward the end of this years riding season. Hopefully we will conduct a couple of our "Meetings of the Mindless" again this winter to get ideas for next years riding season. On our old calendar people were putting birthdays on the calendar. If people have an interest in having their birthdays on a calendar, I can set up another calendar. This calendar component is only manageable by the admin and items cannot be added by users. It integrates with Google Calendars and if you have a Google account you can add events from the calendar here to your own calendar. This calendar is a running experiment and may change in the future if I can find one that works better and is FREE. Seems there are a lot of companies trying to get rich off of simple components. So for now, there is a Calendar for Events and a Calendar for Birthdays. I have also added a weather link in the top menu bar and in the Main Menu. It will post 7 day forecasts for 3 locations covering New Hampshire. Locations are Manchester for southern NH, Laconia for the lakes region and Berlin for the north country. I will also include other cities as necessary depending on where our next group ride is. I added Burlington Vermont to the list since we are planning a Foliage ride on the 3rd and 4th of October.
